Milk Education are currently recruiting Childhood Studies Graduates to work across Primary schools and Early Years settings in South Shields, supporting children with additional learning needs, SEND and social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build a career in Teaching, Early Years, Educational Psychology, Family Support or wider child-focused roles.
Essential Requirements:
1. Must have graduated within the last 3 years
2. Must have employment history within the last 2 years that is fully referencable
3. A strong understanding of child development
4. A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
The Role:
6. Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
7. Assisting pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD or SEMH needs
8. Supporting learning and development in EYFS and Primary settings
9. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
10. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and Early Years practitioners
