Overview
Purpose/Key Objective: To perform warehouse duties, to include receiving deliveries and despatching orders, stock control and record keeping.

* Complies with the Company and statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act section 7 as well as the environment
* Co-operates in ensuring the health, safety and welfare of themselves, colleagues and visitors (e.g. customers, contractors) whilst at work
* Co-operates via communication, consultation and participation in the SHEQ management systems
* Co-operates in protecting resources by minimising energy usage, waste and emissions to benefit the planet.
Principal Accountabilities/Critical Objectives
* FLT Driver
* Receive deliveries of goods and supplies
* Check for damaged or missing items
* Store goods
* Move stock around by hand, palletiser, or a forklift truck
* Pick, prepare and check orders
* Load goods
* Keep records of stock
* Keep paperwork up to date
* Clean work area
* Routine cleaning of warehouse floors on a weekly basis or as necessary
* Daily checking forklift equipment for faults or damage
* Ad hoc duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
* Counterbalance forklift qualification
* Needs to have experience in using mobile loading ramp.
* Desirable to have experience in a warehousing/factory role involving a continuous production line
* Equivalent of GCSE in English and Maths
* Aware of health and safety regulations
* Good organisation skills
* A methodical and tidy approach
* Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
* Team player
* The ability to work quickly, accurately and safely.
