Overview
Teaching Assistant role at The Graduate Network. Immediate start for a temporary period, with duties in a busy primary setting and opportunities to gain classroom experience before teacher training.
Responsibilities
* You’ll work alongside class teachers across KS1 and KS2, delivering short interventions and 1:1 support.
* You’ll help with lesson preparation, guide pupils during tasks, and reinforce literacy and numeracy skills.
* You’ll assist with pastoral routines, keep simple progress notes, and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom.
Requirements
* Degree – a 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication – clear, confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS – held already or willing to obtain.
* Desire to work in education/with children – evident commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Experience working with children – any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
