Collections Advisor, Coleshill
Hours – 9 – 5 pm (Monday – Friday)
Salary range £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Dealing with a high volume of calls, letters, text messages and emails
* Communicating with customers
* Working with customers and business partners to secure payments
* Ensuring all arrears are kept to a minimum
* Understand the financial circumstances and requirements of the customer and work with the customer to identify a solution
* Building rapport and strong relationships providing a quality-oriented, highly customer-focused service
COMPLIANCE, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS
* Keep up to date with compliance regulation updates
* Attend and/or complete any mandatory training courses stipulated by the Company
* Lead by example and embed the conduct rules in every aspect of your work
* Identify and approve relevant training opportunities
EXPERIENCE/PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Experience within a collections and/or credit control environment
* Excellent telephone and negotiation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in IT software packages
* Confidence, resilience and strong team-working skills
* A driven approach to your work, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
