About the role: Lead improvement projects to improve performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Install a culture of Continuous Improvement through the facilitation of Kaizens and education of improvement techniques. Embrace and drive ConvaTec’s core mission, values, and priorities. Your key duties and responsibilities: • Supporting the operations team to implement a culture of Continuous Improvement • Lead improvement projects • Facilitate/Lead Kaizen events. Ensuring engagement from cross functional teams and effective action management to realize improvements • Supporting others to lead effective Kaizen Events, through delivery of mentoring and coaching. • Provide training to the operations team in improvement techniques. Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure effective use and application of tools • Support the implementation and effectiveness of the site Process Improvement Management system. • Deliver improvement projects. Ensuring effective delivery using project management techniques. • Use data analytical techniques to identify Improvements to improve performance in SQDC. • Collaborates with process owners and plant leadership to drive performance in SQDC • Update and maintain change control systems and associated documentation • Adhere to legal, corporate and site legislation, and procedures • Shares best practices throughout the company and monitors projects for opportunities for cross-collaboration • Uphold and comply with GMPand EHS requirements Skills & Experience: • Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Tools • Project Management experience is essential • Data analysis skills • Excellent Presentation and Communication skills • Demonstrated expertise in Problem solving • Ability to Coach and train others to deliver improvements • Ability to engage and empower others • Proven ability to balance multiple, competing priorities • Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus ideally MS Project Qualifications/Education: • Training or Certification in Lean Manufacturing • Experience in working in a Manufacturing environment implementing Lean Manufacturing • Degree in Lean Manufacturing (desirable) Travel Requirements: • Position may involve occasional travel requirements. mostly within the UK.
