About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team and provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other staff members to create an inclusive and engaging learning experience. As an SEN TA, you will work in an immensely rewarding, although sometimes challenging environment, contributing to supporting the development of social and emotional knowledge and skills; as well as facilitating smooth transitions into and access of the relevant curriculum. Keeping Children Safe in Education The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
