Norwich Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible person to join our friendly lunchtime team as a Midday Supervisor. The role holder will join a small team of Midday Supervisors; helping to set up and clear away the dining room, supervise children in the dining hall and outside areas, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils during lunchtimes.

The main responsibility of this role will be
* To supervise children in all areas of the school, including the dining room, play areas, classroom - as directed by either the Assistant Principal or the Vice Principal in order to ensure the safety and good behaviour of the children.
* To supervise children during the meal to ensure that a good atmosphere is maintained.
* To encourage good eating habits and assist younger children where necessary.
* To provide general assistance in the dining area as necessary, e.g. wiping up spillages to ensure a safe and ordered environment is maintained at all times.
* To supervise movement of pupils to and from the dining room in order to ensure the safety and well being of the pupils.
* To set up and clear away tables in the dining room.
The ideal candidate will have:

* Basic knowledge of health and safety within a school environment.
