CAMEO, the award winning service week day service, operates across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust via two established bases in their busy cities.
This post will be located in the dynamic and multi cultural city of Cambridge where we are seeking to recruit highly trained and hard working Band 6 Care Coordinators: Nurses, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists. The practitioner will provide specialist advice, assess, plan and implement care to a designated caseload whilst working at all times to promote the EI ethos. They will ensure the safety and well-being of service users and their families/carers through family intervention models.
The individual must be compassionate, committed and have good working knowledge of psychosis displaying a passion about the values that underpin Early Intervention work and supporting service users throughout their recovery journeys.
Main duties of the job
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. We are an age inclusive Early intervention in Psychosis team, working with patients between the ages of experiencing their first episode of psychosis.We are:
* A multi-disciplinary team including mental health nurses, social workers, OTs, doctors, support workers, psychologists, and CBTp therapists.
* Supportive, and evidence based, working in a holistic and whole team approach.
* Work alongside the AHP Clinical Placements and Capacity Expansion Lead to provide support to AHP learners/supervisors/ assessors in practice across the non-medical professions.
* Following the EI ethos, promoting hope and recovery, and working collaboratively with our clients their families, and networks.
