About the Role:
As Care Home Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence of the service. You'll lead by example, ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect, staff are supported and developed, and the home maintains a welcoming and safe environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the daily management of the residential care home
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
* Maintain high-quality care outcomes and a strong safeguarding culture
* Support and develop a multidisciplinary care team
* Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and operational performance
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
* Drive continuous improvement in care delivery and home standards
About You:
* Previous management experience within elderly or dementia care settings
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care industry standards
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred
* Compassionate leader with excellent communication and people skills
* Resilient, organised, and committed to resident wellbeing
