Purchase Ledger Clerk £25-£28k per annum, plus benefits Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm and Friday, 8am to 1pm Leeds, LS12 Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based manufacturing client to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent, full time basis. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of supplier invoices, maintain clean and up-to-date ledgers, and supporting the wider finance function. What you’ll be doing: * Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct coding and authorisation * 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies * Preparing and managing payment runs (BACS) in line with agreed schedules * Handling supplier queries and building strong working relationships * Supporting month-end tasks including accruals, aged creditor reporting * Ensuring compliance with VAT rules and internal financial controls * Supporting Financial Controller with holiday cover You will need: * Experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role is essential * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload * Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software * Understanding of financial controls and invoice workflows If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and keeping processes running smoothly, this role offers a great opportunity to develop your finance career.
