All about the role
These are some of the key ingredients to the role
* Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Assist in resolving internal VAT issues and support VAT audits.
* Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and business units to resolve VAT issues and ensure VAT compliance.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation changes
* Act as a subject matter expert in projects related to VAT.
* Provide support on Workday financial systems, ensuring VAT-related data is correctly captured and reported.
What will you bring to the table?
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience in VAT accounting, with specific knowledge of Italy and Poland VAT regulations preferred.
* Experience with Workday financial systems.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English. Knowledge of Italian or Polish is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
* VAT accounting and TB reconciliation.
