We are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee the operations of an elderly residential care home in Southminster, Essex. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in residential home management and elderly care, with a strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care are delivered to residents
Lead, motivate and manage the care team to ensure they are fully trained and competent in their roles
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
Ensure the care home meets all CQC standards and regulations, and maintain an excellent rating
Manage the budget and financial performance of the care home, ensuring profitability and value for money
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and service provided
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsRequirements:
Proven experience in residential home management and elderly care
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
