Overview
You will be responsible for providing application monitoring and support to various internal technical and non-technical teams, client support teams, external third-party application support groups, and users of hosted applications. Issues may arise from the software itself or could be related to business processes, usage, or changes introduced by recent software releases. You will need to quickly investigate the possible source of the issue and, if the problem cannot be resolved within the application support group, escalate details to the relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and support applications for internal technical/non-technical teams and external partners
* Troubleshoot issues related to software, business processes, usage, or recent releases
* Investigate and resolve problems or escalate to appropriate teams
* Collaborate with cross-continental teams to ensure seamless application performance
* Handle incident recovery for production and non-production environments
* Maintain high professionalism when interacting with clients and internal users
* Take ownership of problems and drive them to closure while managing expectations
* Suggest improvements and contribute to continuous service enhancement
Skills Required
Scripting Languages: PowerShell or VBScript
Monitoring Tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Cloudprober, Moogsoft
Cloud & Data Technologies: Azure and Snowflake
Web Technologies: Internet-based applications
Incident Management: Experience in application recovery for priority incidents
Messaging Systems: IBM WebSphere MQ or Microsoft MQ
Issue Tracking: ServiceNow or similar tools
