SEN Learning Support Assistant – Full-Time Location: Preston Type: Agency Temporary (Potential for Permanent) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Preston. This is a full-time agency position with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs. Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure each pupil can access the curriculum. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Support students with personal care and life skills where required. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students and adapt to their individual needs. A patient, proactive, and resilient approach. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
