Lecturer in Computing (Software Development)
Salary: Permanent, Full Time - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week) - £35,000 - £43,800 per annum (plus £3,000 market supplement per annum), depending on qualifications and experience.
Holiday: 42 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.
Location: Ware and Broxbourne Campus.

About the Role

* Support and motivate students to achieve their best
* Lead on course planning, coordination, assessment, and evaluation
* Work collaboratively with academic teams to ensure courses run smoothly and effectively
About You
* An Initial Teacher Training qualification (PTTLS/DTLLS) or the willingness to work towards one
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above
* A relevant degree/HND and/or equivalent experience which could ideally include programming, cyber security, games design and development, networking and systems support, apps development, web design and development, project management, database design
* You can manage a large programme within a Further Education environment and demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in programming (JavaScript and Python), HTML and CSS, cybersecurity, network and IT technical support, app development, web design and development, and database design using Access, SQL and/or MongoDB
