Are you an enthusiastic and experienced professional ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join our vibrant team at The Beaconsfield Day Nursery. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a chance to work in a nurturing environment from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Our nursery features bright, spacious rooms with direct access to a large, fully equipped garden, including a popular mud kitchen, and a dedicated outdoor area for our baby room. With enriching activities and regular community outings, we create exciting opportunities for children to learn, explore, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
* Promote respect and credibility through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
* Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and new challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
* Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
* Essential: Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years.
* Essential: Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
* Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in a management position.
* Desirable: Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
* Desirable: Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding.
