We are seeking a commercially minded Renewables Originator to join our growing Origination team. You will be responsible for the growth and development of our renewable generation portfolio, identifying new opportunities and managing the onboarding of renewable projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Origination, you will provide the commercial and contractual framework required to support generators, developers, and TPIs, ensuring all partnerships align with our 100% renewable commitment.
Responsibilities:
* Building relationships that last: Connecting with renewable generators and installers, turning great conversations into long-term partnerships
* Shaping deals that work for everyone: Price, structure and negotiate PPAs that are fair, competitive and built to last
* Bringing contracts to life: Agreeing terms, drafting contracts and seeing deals through from first conversation to signatures
* Getting projects over the line: Supporting generators through grid connection, metering and onboarding
* Owning your portfolio: Keeping data accurate, staying close to your generators and being their go-to person
* Collaborating across the business: Working with sales, trading and wider teams to solve problems and unlock opportunities
* Improving how we do things : Getting involved in projects that evolve our PPA offering and customer experience
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be at the heart of the energy transition. You’ll see deals through from first conversations to real-world impact and you’ll be working with a wide range of renewable projects and people. This role requires a blend of commercial problem-solving and technical diligence, where your ability to navigate complex energy pricing and build lasting relationships will be key to our portfolio's growth.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
We would expect some of this, but not necessarily all:
* Good communication skills (verbal and written)
* Problem solving ability
* Highly numerate
* Experience of contractual negotiation
* Experience of portfolio management
* Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
* Great attention to detail evidenced by consistently accurate work (with low error rates)
* Good time-management skills; able to manage own workload
* IT literate; competent in the use of MS Office and able to learn new software
* Knowledge or experience of the renewables and energy industry
* Knowledge or experience of pricing HH metered contracts
Desirable
* PPA experience or experience of working with renewable energy generators
Hybrid working explained: When and where you’ll be in the office
Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. For this role, we're looking for candidates who can come in to our Chippenham office, once a week, based on location.
We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
