The Social Work Admin Service delivers administrative support to front line Social Work teams within the Argyll and Bute HSCP. We have a part time, temporary admin support worker vacancy within our Children and Families area team based in Campbeltown which is ideally suited to someone with good organisational, IT and admin skills.

This position will be office based at the Social Work Office, Old Quay Head, Campbeltown.
This position will, as part of the local admin team, provide high quality admin support to the local Children and Families Social Work team who deliver agreed outcomes for local families.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Minute taking and meeting support
2. Monitoring team Email mailbox enquiries
3. Processing invoices and orders
4. Updating electronic service user records
Candidates for this role require to have:
5. A good basic education
6. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office applications
7. Experience of office administration
8. Understanding of confidentiality and data security
9. An internal system check undertaken in order to access Social Work databases. A PVG check may also be required where there is regular contact with families.
Some experience of minute taking would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working as both an individual and as part of a team.
