The role
As a key member of the Teifi Fyw project development phase team, you will support the development of a Delivery Phase National Lottery Heritage Fund (NHLF) application to deliver an ambitious five-year project.
Teifi Fyw is a collaborative, place-based partnership project, bringing together nine core partners to restore ecological resilience and reconnect people with the natural and cultural heritage of the River Teifi catchment.
The postholder will lead the development and coordination of two of the project’s four work streams:
* Voices of the Teifi – To support community-led decision making and co-production, ensuring Delivery Phase plans reflect both community insight and scientific evidence.
* Connecting Nature Teifi – To work with communities to inform plans for restoring ecological connectivity and natural river processes.
* Guardians of the Teifi – To work with communities to inform plans for land management that supports heritage, biodiversity, water and soil health, and climate adaptation.
* Investment Ready Teifi – To develop a sustainable, locally governed framework for long-term investment in the catchment.
During the development phase, the role will focus on co-designing and shaping plans for the project’s delivery phase, working with partners, communities and stakeholders to test approaches, gather evidence, and refine priorities.
The postholder will manage commissioned work, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and ensure timely delivery of outputs, including overseeing contracts and aligning activity with project objectives and NHLF requirements.
Working closely with Natural Resources Wales colleagues, project partners, and local communities, the role will support a co-productive, partnership-led approach, laying the foundations for a Delivery Phase that is community-informed, evidence-led, and delivers lasting benefits for people, place and heritage across the Teifi catchment.
