Version 1 is winning extensive new business across a range of customers. We are seeking a Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer to support our customers. As a Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer, you will join an expanding team working with a broad range of enterprise-scale customers and projects. You should have experience interacting with customers and implementing DevOps projects aligned with industry best practices. Working as part of a team, you will develop and enhance our customers’ ability to rapidly build and deploy to cloud services and release software.
Responsibilities include:
1. Implementing DevOps processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in the public cloud.
2. Automating the configuration and management of cloud workloads in Azure.
3. Building toolchains to support automated builds, tests, and deployments of applications to public cloud platforms.
4. Contributing to technical decisions in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications (Essential):
* Self-driven with an intrinsic motivation to excel and take ownership of tasks and projects.
* Strong experience with Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD tools), scripting languages, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, PowerShell DSC.
* Experience building and configuring cloud services using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
* Good knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.
* Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
* Experience implementing modern CI/CD processes for software release.
* Experience advocating for DevOps methodologies and processes.
* Broad experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (e.g., App Service, VNETs, NSGs, SQL databases, Service Bus, Function Apps, Key Vault, Logic Apps).
* Experience with Git.
