Container Traffic Operator
* Annual Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Container Traffic Operator with knowledge of TOPS to contribute to our dynamic operations team. Day-to-day of the role:
* Coordinate the movement of container traffic in line with operational schedules and client requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the TOPS (Terminal Operating System) platform.
* Collaborate with internal teams, hauliers, and external partners to ensure seamless container handling.
* Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and operational standards.
* Proactively resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary.
* Foster clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders to support efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role within logistics or transport coordination.
* Proficiency in using TOPS or equivalent terminal operating systems. (very important)
* Experience in subcontractor management is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
