Job Description
A Nottingham based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm DAYS for their modern food production facility based in South Nottingham.
As an electrically biased multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role:
* Salary of c£45 - £55k Dependent on experience
* Multi skilled engineer
* 4on 4off shifts – perm DAYS (12 hour, 6am – 6pm)

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
* Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
* Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
* Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
* Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
* Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
* Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
* Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or higher
* Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
* Apprenticeship trained
* Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
* Food or FMCG manufacturing / production experience required
