Requirements & skills for this role:
* Ability to communicate with and inspire children.
* Relevant Experience along with PGCE, QTS
* An enhanced DBS on the update service
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* 2 proven and recent professional references
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
* Knowledge of various teaching methods.
* Ability to use a computer and the main office software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
* Teach all areas of the Secondary curriculum
* Take responsibility for the progress of a class of Secondary-age pupils
* organize the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment
* provide feedback to parents and careers on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings
* keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
* work with other teachers, teaching assistants, and other relevant professionals to plan and coordinate work
