Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a friendly kitchen team in your area. This Chef de Partie position is ideal for chefs looking for structured shifts, daytime hours, and a better work-life balance while still working in a professional kitchen.
The Role Chef de Partie:
We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Dover.
Catering for over 500 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch, Supper and a cafe. There will be a good amount of hospitality offering at this location. This school operates 7 days a week so working patterns are 5 out of 7 days and has additional benefits of free parking and use of on site gym.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

Knowledge / competencies:
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.

Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred

Hours
Salary £14.36 per hour
40 hours per week
Working 44 weeks per year. Holidays 5.6 weeks
Shift patterns 5 Over 7. Weekends on rotation.
Shift times between: 06:00 and 19:30
