Sewell Wallis is working with a reputable manufacturing business based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, who is currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This position will begin as a 3-month contract, with a permanent role to potentially follow. This position offers a great opportunity to join a stable business, who operate within a niche sector, and would enable the successful candidate to take ownership of the Credit Control process. This role is suitable for an experienced Credit Controller, who is available for an immediate start. What will you be doing? Chasing outstanding and overdue debt via telephone and email. Accurately receiving and processing incoming payments from customers via various methods. Recording all customer payments promptly and correctly, maintaining up to date. Generating and distributing customer invoices when required. Preparing and processing credit notes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Regularly reviewing and reconcile customer payments against outstanding invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies. General monitoring and managing of the sales ledger to ensure all entries are correctly recorded and balanced.What skills are we looking for? Experience within Credit Control/debt chasing. Experience dealing with high volumes. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Experience with creating invoices. Strong technical skills.
