Job Description
Our client, a well-established and growing lift engineering business, is seeking a Service Supervisor to join their North West operation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a successful and expanding organisation that values its people and offers long-term career progression.
Working from a busy Manchester office, you'll oversee a team of service engineers across the region, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality maintenance and repair service while building strong relationships with customers and supporting the continued growth of the department.
This position would suit someone with a strong background in lift maintenance and repair who enjoys leading teams, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Role
- Lead and support a team of lift service engineers across the North West.
- Manage maintenance, breakdown, and repair activities within a busy service operation.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct technical surveys, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support operational performance and service delivery targets.
- Help drive the ongoing growth and development of the service department.
About You
- Proven experience within the lift industry, ideally with a strong maintenance and repair background.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to motivate and manage engineering teams effectively.
- A customer-focused approach with strong technical knowledge.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
