We are currently seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker to play a vital role in our Wandsworth & Richmond and Domestic Abuse Service.


Your Role

As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, 1:1 support to service users facing multiple challenges, including:

* Substance misuse
* Exiting sex work
* Domestic abuse
* Co-existing issues such as low-level mental health needs

Your responsibilities will include:

* Exploring and addressing service users' needs
* Making referrals to relevant services
* Collaborating with social services, safeguarding leads, and mental health teams
* Contributing to multi-agency meetings
* Maintaining accurate case notes and completing assessments
* Reviewing safety plans
* Overseeing housing maintenance and ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed

This role requires working Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 2 PM each week.

We want a motivated individual who can demonstrate the core skills required for this role and align with our values and mission. Lived experience in the areas we support is highly valued, so feel free to share this in your application.

Ideal candidates will have:

* Experience in safeguarding and supporting people with complex needs
* Knowledge of domestic abuse, substance misuse, sex work, and mental health
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to empower survivors
* A desire to develop skills and training

Please note: This position is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, due to the nature of the role supporting women.
