Job Title: HGV Technician – Day Shift
Location: Bristol
Salary: £51,000 per annum
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic and growing team in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time position on a day shift, offering a competitive salary of £51,000 per annum, with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
Perform vehicle inspections to DVSA standards.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out using maintenance systems and documentation.
Work to health and safety regulations at all times.
Support the team and provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience working on HGVs in a similar role.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.What We Offer:
