What You Will Be Doing
As a Lead Housekeeper who will lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure the service achieves leading cleaning standards. Working with multidisciplinary teams within the service you will create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to ensure we can deliver high quality care and support. Leading by example, you will ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards providing a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
You'll help to create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to deliver quality care and support. Leading a team of housekeeping staff, you'll ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards
Ensuring all areas of the care centre are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms
Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings
Managing staff rota, training and supervisions to ensure housekeeping team members are working efficiently.
Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease
Working closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations
