The job itself
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior Care Officer within Town View, Beverley which offers day opportunities to provide support for adults who have a learning disability and other associated physical health needs.
Town View is a well-established provision which provides care and support that puts the service user at the very centre in terms of decision making regarding their individual lives, hopes and aspirations.
The post is 37 hours a week and there will be an expectation to work evenings and alternative weekends. Hours of work could vary between 7am and 11pm.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within health and social care settings including working with people who have a learning disability. You will be passionate about providing high standards of care and support which promote choice, independence, and dignity. It is crucial that the successful candidate has a sound value base that respects people's individuality and diversity to ensure that good quality person centred care is provided to all service users who access Town View.
You will also be a confident leader who can role model best practice and help foster a positive working environment for all staff.
