This exciting role to enhance work winning and marketing for the Contracting division and wider group. The role will provide an interesting mix of business development, bid writing and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify suitable tender opportunities using Barbour ABI project intelligence, tender portals, planning portals and any other means
* Tracking opportunities and developing the pipeline to deliver ambitious revenue growth targets
* Producing winning pre-qualification and quality submissions whilst identifying and pulling in technical support for bids at the earliest opportunity
* Developing and maintaining submission information and image libraries to enable efficient production of bid and marketing documentation
* Production of project case studies for key contracts completed identifying key project features and successes
* Producing and maintaining quality marketing content for the website, social media and brochures
* Supporting the group marketing function with developing successful Search Engine Optimisation and Pay per Click campaigns
* Identify and generate new business opportunities through direct and indirect client and customer contact
* Support the process of delivering our sales drive of showcasing our innovative services to potential clients
* Search and analysis existing business lead generation platforms, identifying and prioritizing business opportunities
* Arrange meetings and seminars with key stakeholders to enable of services to be showcase and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
* Help support the team maintain and strengthen existing contacts, help to ensure that excellent working relationships are supported and maintained
* Take charge of the Telesales function, adapting to the evolving needs of our growing business
* Uploading and maintaining various documents on to share points
* Support the business leaders in leverage existing relationships to market our business and products effectively
* Scope the market to identify new and exciting opportunities for growth
* Point of contact and administrator for external supply chain accreditation and procurement portals
* Maintain and administer Business Management System document library and control processes.
What we’re looking for
* Knowledge of the construction industry with the ability to identify suitable opportunities
* Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft package (particularly Microsoft Word)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales, marketing or submission writing role
* Experience in dealing with customers and clients, delivering excellent customer service
* Experience in cold calling by telephone (essential)
* Experience working on own initiative and as part of a team
* Experience working with a wide variety of internal and external contacts
* Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to prioritise and schedule tasks.
* Excellent writing skills with good GCSE or A level grades in English
