Role- Graduate Controls Engineer Salary- £27,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise) Type- Permanent Location- West Berkshire My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team. The Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes: Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems ideally or an interest in working with them – Beckhoff or similar An interest in software engineering would be ideal – any previous exposure to C++, Java or similar (this could be in your hobbies too) Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team Have excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve: Working within the existing engineering automation technical team Working on PLC’s and a range of projects Developing PLC code and software for projects Always looking at identifying areas for improvements Commissioning activities and testing Working from electrical schematics Integrating PLC code Fault finding and resolving any issuesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
