About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Night Housing Concierges to join our growing teams. At Home Group, we support vulnerable customers with complex care needs. Your role will be to ensure safety, security, and a welcoming environment for our residents, and to foster good relations with neighbors.
Typical Night Shift Responsibilities
* Manage the health and safety of the building, including patrolling, checking fire doors, and ensuring premises are secure.
* Provide first-line support to customers, particularly when other support networks are unavailable.
* Respond to emergencies and investigate suspicious activity, raising alarms and engaging emergency services if needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the premises, including manual tasks like cleaning.
Candidate Profile
* Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
* Supportive attitude towards vulnerable individuals
* People-oriented, observant, and able to detect behavioral changes
* Confident in intervening sensitively in challenging situations
* Team player capable of working independently with backup support
* Must have a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid by us
Additional Information
Due to current sponsorship restrictions, we cannot offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This is under regular review.
Team & Support
You will join Yvonne on the Central Resource Team, supported by Client Service Manager Laura. Both have extensive experience supporting customers and team development.
Job Details
* Travel across West Yorkshire, including Huddersfield, Wakefield, and Leeds
* Work 4 nights on, 4 nights off, between 8:30 pm and 8:15 am
* Participate in daytime training and meetings
* Use technology for CCTV monitoring and record updates
* Enhanced DBS check required; paid for by us
