GSL Education are working with schools to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Stockton. We are looking for a confident and proactive individual who can provide high-quality classroom support while contributing to students' academic and personal development.
The Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) role offers the opportunity to work closely with staff and students, helping to deliver engaging learning experiences and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups under the direction of teaching staff
* Assist with planning and preparing resources for learning activities
* Encourage students to develop independence, confidence, and positive learning habits
* Help monitor progress and provide feedback on student engagement and achievement
* Support classroom organisation and contribute to effective lesson delivery
* Promote an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and encouraged
Level 3 TA Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant equivalent experience is desirable
* Experience supporting children or young people within educational settings
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
* Positive and flexible approach to supporting students with varying needs
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
