As part of a newly formed technical desk, you'll be involved in providing technical support to assist front-line Sales teams with technical qualification of opportunities with a total contract value of up to £250k. Through direct engagement with both customer and sales team members, the successful candidates will be responsible for understanding the scope of the customer requirement, offering advice and guidance on product features/functions/limitations, and helping to propose a solution comprised of the VMO2 standard product/service best suited.
Our Pre-Sales Technical Advisors act as an interface between the sales teams, customers, and the broader solution design department and have accountability for gathering a full and accurate statement of requirements to underpin the customer’s objectives. You'll play a crucial role in making sure VMO2 can fulfil Business customers requirements effectively!

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
* Proven background and experience within a technical pre-sales role dealing with Network Security / Private and Public Cloud and or End User Compute
* A working understanding of Pre-Sales processes, forecasting and bid stages.
* Holding relevant Vendor certifications
* The ability to help our Sales teams in at least one of the following areas – Mobile Device Management, Firewalls, SASE, Secure Web Gateway, DDoS Protection, Managed Authentication, AWS direct connect, Azure Express Route, MAS365,
* Experience in a customer facing environment with the confidence to present complex technical solutions to varying audiences.

* The ability to capture technical requirements and convert into a coherent documentation to progress sales
* A passion to develop and maintain technical knowledge across the VMO2 Product Portfolio.
* An inquisitive nature to understand customers’ business drivers.
