Interim EMEA Payroll Advisor — London — 6 Months - £250 per day
My client, a leading Investment Firm in Bank, is seeking an Interim EMEA Payroll Advisor for a period of 6 months which could lead to a permanent role at the end of the assignment. Reporting into the EMEA Payroll Manager within a small team, you will need to be happy commuting into the office 4-5 days a week.
Responsibilities
* End to end processing of UK and EMEA payrolls (i.e. UK, Ireland, Jersey, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland & Dubai), with a combined total of approx. 1,300 employees; taking responsibility for all aspects of the payroll cycle from data collation, input, reconciliations to payment of tax and social security contributions.
* Liaising closely with HRIS and HRBP teams to ensure data is received in line with established payroll formats and deadlines.
* To be the primary point of contact for general employee queries in relation to designated payrolls.
* Maintaining and updating departmental payroll procedures per geography.
* Processing payrolled benefits in kind and preparing P11Ds where there is still a requirement.
* Calculating tax withholding rates on restricted stock units and processing through payroll.
* Preparing payroll data in readiness for internal and external audits.
* Providing cover for other team members as required.
* Assisting with payroll related projects e.g. new system implementation.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience with end to end payroll processing for UK and multiple EMEA geographies as part of a payroll team.
* Ability to liaise with HRIS and HRBP teams to ensure timely data delivery and payroll accuracy.
* Experience handling payroll queries and maintaining payroll procedures by geography.
