Deputy Package Manager- Electrical for a major offshore wind project in Germany
Responsibilities
* Provide guidance and support across the technical, commercial, and legal aspects of the electrical package, with a focus on inner array cables and TSO grid connection workstreams.
* Review and contribute to technical specifications, contractual documents, and regulatory submissions.
* Oversee and coordinate the work of contract managers, external legal counsel, and engineering teams.
* Ensure alignment between internal project teams and external partners to maintain consistent progress and quality.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant grid code requirements, regulatory frameworks, and technological standards.
* Support the preparation of documentation and evidence required for regulatory approval.
* Work closely with technical advisors, OEMs, and contractors to manage interfaces between turbine technology, array cables, and external grid connection systems.
* Lead or support technical interface workstreams, including SCADA, IT systems, and electrical transition piece outfitting.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* Experience in offshore wind, grid infrastructure, or large‑scale energy projects.
* Strong understanding of grid connection requirements, cable systems, and electrical interfaces.
* Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
* Familiarity with contract management and regulatory processes is advantageous.
