Role Overview
Head of Commercial – Renewable Sales.
Location: National – nationwide travel required.
Responsibilities
* Develop and lead commercial sales strategy across the renewables market, driving high‑value opportunities from initial engagement through conversion.
* Identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen Utilita’s position within a competitive landscape.
* Own the sales pipeline and shape the future direction of the renewables offering through market insight, product input and go‑to‑market strategy.
* Build and lead the commercial sales function; mentor and manage SDRs and wider commercial team members.
* Drive major commercial opportunities across larger organisations.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of winning and scaling renewable energy opportunities.
* Commercially driven leader with experience in solar PV, battery storage or integrated energy solutions.
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking and ability to build high‑performing pipelines.
* Experience in building long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
* Experience in commissioning or commercial strategy within renewables, utilities or related sectors highly beneficial.
