It’s an exciting time to join the Digital Trading Solutions team here at AXA. We’re looking for a talented individual to join the growing team as a Test Analyst where you’ll test SME Digital products using the Polaris ProductWriter testing tools for internal and external systems to AXA to support the business requirements of AXA Commercial Lines. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at our office in Ipswich. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. What you’ll be doing:
1. Use testing tools within the Polaris Productwriter toolset
2. Work with Commercial Data Dictionaries to estimate and carry out testing of Productwriter developments
3. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of relevant front end data capture of software house systems
4. Support the Productwriter lead for Polaris developments for internal and external and ensure that stakeholder requirements are delivered on time
5. Produce high quality deliverables and work closely with internal and external partners such as IT, outsourced testing resources and Software houses
6. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders
7. Work with the team to make suggestions for improvements of current processes and use of Products
8. Ensure that internal Polaris Productwriter usage is in line with current standards by linking in with the Productwriters within the team

Your Profile
What we’re looking for:
9. High level of numeracy and computing skills
10. Ability to work across various projects simultaneously
11. Experience of workload prioritisation
12. Excellent relationship management and communication skills
13. Desire to be involved in the development and the delivery of product change
14. Knowledge of commercial insurance in an underwriting environment is preferred but not essential
15. Experience of working in a test environment is preferred but not essential
16. Underwriting experience is desirable
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
