Responsibilities

* You like mixing things up. Every day is different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. You’ll also manage stock, do reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
* You think on your feet. You'll be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer. Different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Role Details & Benefits
* Location opportunities in the South East area: Aylesbury, Banbury, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Horsham, Oxford, Colchester, Esher, Ipswich, Guildford, Milton Keynes
* As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are—driveways, office car parks, etc.—with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided.
* Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
* Compensation & Benefits – base salary £38,625, with on-target earnings up to £55,000 (including London Weighting where applicable); guaranteed overtime to increase base salary to £44,385, plus overtime and bonus opportunities. Optional earnings enhancements are described below.
