We are recruiting a Customer Support professional for a well-established global manufacturing company based in Havant, on the outskirts of Portsmouth.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and excellent communication skills who enjoys building relationships and keeping customers happy. You will join a fast-paced, friendly team, managing key accounts and supporting customers with their day-to-day needs.
The role: what you will be doing
As Customer Support, your responsibilities will include:
* Producing weekly customer reports
* Acting as the main point of contact for a set of key accounts
* Providing logistical and administrative support, including handling quality concerns, delivery issues and invoice queries, and helping to resolve any problems
* Sharing updates and key information with customers in a clear and timely way
* Handling incoming sales calls, resolving queries or directing them to the right colleague
* Monitoring expedited customer orders from placement through to delivery
* Liaising with other departments to gather and share information with the Customer Support Team
About you: what we are looking for
To be successful in the Customer Support role, you will ideally have:
* Good MS Office skills, including confident use of Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A professional, friendly telephone manner
* Experience in administration, logistics or customer service, or a similar office-based environment
