Overview
Our client provides an extensive range of specialised IT solutions and systems for the private healthcare market, including practice management systems, online billing, secure messaging, and clinical coding tools. They are now looking to appoint a Customer Services Agent to join their growing team.
The Role
* Provide customer support for products and services via telephone, live chat, and email.
* Log and resolve first-line customer service fault calls, ensuring resolution and escalation as needed.
* Resolve provider and insurer issues such as code map requests, account resets, validation failures, user training, validation updates, and provider details.
* Manage user account administration.
* Understand and adhere to customer service procedures, SLAs, and data protection policies.
* Support system rollouts and testing as directed.
* Assess call severity and escalate to second-level support when necessary.
* Assist in data gathering for new customers.
* Handle inquiries from prospective customers to support pre-sales and sales activities.
* Manage customer acquisition from registration to subscription, providing support and training.
The Person
* Educated to GCSE level.
* Experience with web-based technologies (Essential).
* Minimum 3 years of customer service experience (Essential).
* Knowledge of healthcare/medical industry (Desirable).
* Hands-on approach and excellent telephone manner.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
* Independent worker with logical problem-solving skills.
* Empathetic and organized.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to simplify technical issues.
* Team player, proactive, and able to take initiative.
