Job Title: Senior Videographer
Working Hours/Arrangements: 40 hours per week (9am to 6pm, including one hour of unpaid break), Mondays to Thursdays – office based; Fridays – work from home.
Salary Range: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Location: Guildford office – 2nd Floor, Building 2000 Cathedral Square, Cathedral Hill, Guildford GU2 7YL

Job brief
We are looking for a senior videographer with expertise in planning, shooting and editing engaging video content to join our growing Marketing team at servers.com
You will be responsible for creating valuable video content that works across platforms including, but not limited to our website, social media platforms, events, campaigns, and external websites.
In this role, you’ll work closely with members of the Sales and Marketing Team to tell our story through dynamic videos that demonstrate the expertise and knowledge of our people, as well as our work and relationships with customers and partners, and the culture at servers.com. You will be responsible for capturing footage of team members, spokespeople, customers and partners in the office and at events, and turning that footage into visually engaging and valuable content.
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in shooting quality videography, driving clear, creative direction, and editing efficiently but creatively. You should also be comfortable in aligning with brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all video content. Experience creating and implementing motion/video guidelines is also required.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in capturing high-quality footage, incorporating motion design, as well as using music and sound to enhance the emotional connection to the footage.
This is a new role within a fast-paced Sales and Marketing Team, so we are looking for a self-starter – someone who is driven and excited to help develop a robust, creative video content practice at servers.com.
Working hours
You will generally work normal office hours, but may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends for events. For some events, oversees travel will be required.
Responsibilities
· Create quality, engaging video content for website, social media platforms and events
· Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for a variety of projects, including brand videos, social media content, and customer, partner and expert interviews
· Work with members of the Sales and Marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards
· Advise, set up and operate camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear for video shoots in the onsite studio at the office or at events
· Direct on-camera talent to ensure a good performance
· Use video editing software to edit raw footage into refined, visually compelling videos
· Optimise video content for relevant platforms e.g. website, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
· Manage the storage and maintenance of video equipment and files
· Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
· Create motion guidelines that reflect our wider brand guidelines
· Ensure all video content meets quality standards and aligns to our brand and motion* guidelines (*once created)
· Stay up to date with that latest video trends and approaches, and look at how you can use them to improve and streamline our video content
The above list of duties is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the Marketing team.
Requirements/skills
* Proven experience as a senior videographer or similar role with a portfolio of published work
* Strong understanding of storytelling and narrative communication in video
* Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar, After Effects and Photoshop
* Good knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, audio, and composition
* Experience in different types of video production, such as live events, interviews, and brand videos
* Familiarity of different video formats
* Good writing and editing skills in English
* Ability to meet deadlines

· Salary range: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
