International Bank based in London, are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager - Investment Operations to join their Operations Team, on a 6 month FTC.
The Investment Operations functions that will need to be covered include but are not limited to:
* Portfolio Establishment and all maintenance thereafter
* Security set up
* Security Valuation including valuation of all London held securities
* Rebate receipts and processing
* Trade allocations
* Market Settlements
* Contract Notes
* Client reporting
* Asset servicing (all applicable corporate actions)
* Custody and Cash reconciliations
* MI preparation including CMAR preparation and validation
* Pricing checks and monitoring
* Regulatory transaction reporting requirements – MiFID
* Client account fees processing
* Custody vendor invoice processing
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant Operations role is essential.
* Asset Servicing experience in processing of Corporate Actions (Optional and Mandatory events) and Income Processing
* Good understanding of front to back operational processes and regulatory requirements around performing these tasks (COBS, COLL, SYSC and CASS).
* Up to date knowledge and understanding of the FCA CASS rules relating to operational processes.
* Ability to take on projects to improve processes, move of activity to other location, implementing new processes appropriately.
* Sound knowledge of financial products life cycle
* Further experience in Banking Operations would be preferable
