The Sales Manager be instrumental in delivering ambitious sales growth and building a performance-driven environment. You will lead from the front whiles supporting the Sales office Manager and Sales Executives ensuring that every opportunity is maximised, and customers receive excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Strategy Lead the development and execution of sales strategies in collaboration with colleagues and management. Set and monitor sales targets to ensure consistent revenue growth and profitability. Foster a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment focused on urgency, accuracy, and accountability. Coach and mentor sales representatives, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and smart working. Provide weekly sales updates and monthly reporting on sales performance, including actuals vs. forecasts. Monitor profit margins, ensuring targets for overheads and overall profit are met. Business Development & Market Expansion Develop and implement strategies to capture new markets and expand the customer base. Identify and pursue new business opportunities that drive growth and long-term value. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs to raise brand awareness and generate leads. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met. Oversee customer onboarding and ensure a positive, consistent customer experience across all interactions. Monitor customer behaviour and trends to adapt strategies and improve satisfaction. Work closely with the Account Management team to align on customer objectives and support long-term retention. Sales Operations & Reporting Oversee and streamline sales processing and administrative tasks to support operational efficiency. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns and materials effectively support sales goals. Create and manage structured rebate agreements that align with commercial strategies. Support business planning and month-end processing activities. Skills and Experience Required: Previous sales experience with evidence of working in a target driven, fast-paced environment Evidence of using initiative, drive and determination to get results and enhance processes Self-motivated and results-driven Experience in managing sales teams with the ability to motivate and inspire. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
