Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including assisted living and nursing home experience. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for developing care plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Supervise and support staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills in senior care.
* Ensure effective medication administration practices are followed by all staff members.
* Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, promoting their dignity and independence.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Monitor the quality of care provided and implement improvements as necessary.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the care home.

Experience

* Proven experience in a managerial role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is essential.
* A background in nursing or senior care is highly desirable, with specific experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care preferred.
* Strong understanding of care plans and medication administration protocols.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team management and supervision.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
