My Local Government client is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner into the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance your role will include:
Dealing with Assistant Directors and Managers of a particular service area(s).
Monthly or quarterly financial monitoring of all budgets with service - Revenue and possibly capital.
Creation of yearly budgets in conjunction with the service.
All year end processes.
Dealing with audit queries following closedown as well as during the year Internal Audits.
Report checking and sign off.
Assisting and critical appraisal of service Business Plans / Projects.
Covering for Lead Business Partner.
Development / review of systems and processes.To be considered for the role you will need to be either a CCAB qualified accountant or studying towards the qualification as well as have previous experience in a Local Government Finance environment.
This is a permanent role with 2 to 3 days a week in the office and a salary of circa £(phone number removed)
