As part of Bentley's annual Early Careers intake, you'll join a community of around 250 trainees including Industrial Placements, Graduates, and Apprentices.

About the role:
As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley's journey to extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
* Gain invaluable experience in supporting high impact projects and play a key role in supporting our Beyond100+ Strategy, through delivery of our annual sustainability report and award winning community investment programme,
* Have the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by professionals in the areas of sustainability, CI and Government Relations, both internally and with external third parties,
* Gain a broad insight into all Sustainability topics and year on year progress across Bentley.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Working with the Senior Sustainability Manager to create the annual Sustainability Report by participating in colleague interviews, following up with actions, reviewing report drafts, supporting data collection and coordinating any imagery needed,
* Supporting the delivery of two Council Meetings, through preparation pre-event and note taking the outcomes during the event,
* Supporting the Government Relations activity through monitoring key government speeches or events,
* Playing an active role in the Bentley Charities Committee, and support the wider Bentley Community Investment Programme, through collaboration with external charities, NGOs and key internal stakeholders,
* Supporting the team in collating, preparing and presenting data using PowerPoint and Excel for various topics.
About the Department:
The Government Relations and Sustainable Luxury team, oversee all activities relating to Government relations, Community Investment and the Sustainability report and Bentley Sustainable Council, all of which are aligned to our Beyond100+ corporate strategy.
Working with and being mentored by expert industry colleagues and external third parties, you will get a real insight into how we create and publish the annual Sustainability Report. You will manage and deliver initiatives from our Sustainability Council, manage our Government Relations strategy, and understand how we support our local communities.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Business & Management Studies, Sustainable Development, Environmental & Sustainability, Geography & Environmental Science, Politics, Economics, Law, English and History.
Skills required for the role:
* PowerPoint experience is essential,
* Good Communication skills, both written and verbal,
* Self-confidence to work with senior colleagues and external third parties,
* Organisation skills,
* Self-motivated.
