Seven Social Care is looking for a Senior Health Protection Practitioner in Walsall
The role:
To assist in the development of a mandated health protection service that will meet the needs of the different aspects of health and social care provision in Walsall as part of the local health economy approach
To lead a team of nurses, providing direction, professional leadership, planning and coordination of the different elements of the health protection service for Walsall Council
To lead in the delivery of a coordinated approach to health protection in all aspects of health and social care services across Walsall
To lead a team of nurses in the delivery of a health protection and immunisation service across the borough including interface with individuals, working closely with the health and social care economy
Within the remit of the post, to offer clinical expertise and professional advice on communicable diseases and healthcare associated infections, screening and immunisation and other health protection matters within the LA and for all members of the Walsall health and social care economy
