Fasttream is recruiting for a Tendering Executive for a reputable and well established ship owning company. This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity, where you’ll be at the forefront of securing new business and shaping the future of the company. You will be sitting in the Newcastle office, UK reporting directly to the Head of Commercial.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Taking Ownership: You’ll be the go-to person for all tenders, handling everything from receipt to submission. This isn’t just about passing information along – it’s about owning the process and driving results.
* Collaboration: You’ll work closely with various departments (Technical, Operational, HSEQ) to ensure all tender documentation is accurate and on time. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key.
* Process Management: From managing online tender portals to ensuring smooth pre-registration on charterers’ systems, you’ll be on top of every detail.
* Innovation: We’re looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, especially when it comes to building and implementing an internal approval system for tenders.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Ideally, you’ll have 3-4 years of experience in the offshore wind sector with a solid background in tender management. Familiarity with SAP, Achilles, Mercell, MyFutura, or similar systems will be a big plus.
* Dynamic & Forward-Thinking: We want someone who’s energetic, and ready to think on their feet. You should be confident in voicing your ideas and challenging the status quo.
* Time Management: With multiple tenders on the go, your ability to manage time and juggle priorities will be crucial.
* Growth Potential: This role offers significant room for progression, with opportunities to get involved in diverse projects, including potential travel to international offices and work within the gas sector.
